The Anatomy of the voice – Brighton Singing Lessons

When you are learning to sing, I would always advise that beginner vocalists need to get to grips with how the voice works. In my private vocal coaching sessions, I take my singers through a thorough exploration of the anatomy of the voice. We cover topics such as what the vocal folds are, where they are located, how the larynx works & its other functions besides singing and also deeper subject matter such as postural alignment. For those of you who live in the UK & can get down to Brighton, I would be delighted to share with you these important basics.

By understanding your own voice, where you are at right now, you will get a good view of what you are capable of. It is also top priority to find out what exercises you need to do to warm your voice up before you get into the more specific vocal technique.
